sorry if it's annoying but I need answers. Speakers and Headphones work fine in other OS, but aren't recognized (it appears like both aren't plugged in). Downloaded both from ASUS and Realtek page. I tried to do rollback with older drivers, but that doesn't work too. ![]() It was working fine with that driver but suddenly stopped to work. So itsn't a problem of actualization of drivers. I downloaded the driver from the OFFICIAL PAGE of Realtek, and also from ASUS, both are the same version. The device drivers cover the most common chipsets. There are numerous Realtek chipsets that were in Windows 7 laptops and Desktops. ![]() This package contains the Realtek High Definition audio driver. Windows 7 is still a great Operating System and when you re-install it you're going to need the Realtek drivers. If you are experiencing any issues, you can manually download and reinstall. I have the LAST version of Realtek HD Audio Driver (don't ask the version, it's the last one). This file was automatically installed as part of a recent update. My motherboard is an ASUS P5QPL-AM, fully functional. ![]() I have issue with my audio driver, I can't hear sounds from my computer from both speakers (integrated on my monitor) or headphones (Speakers and headphones works good in Windows XP).
